Kieran Walsh
My name is Kieran Walsh, the president of LCUSA.
Living in Tampa, Florida I ride year round when I'm
not wrestling gators.
Originally born in New Jersey, I moved to Florida at the age of 13. My love for scooters started right after I graduated high school in 1991 and since then I've spent countless hours and energy riding, restoring, and destroying scooters. I am an avid scooter enthusiast, but certainly enjoy Lambrettas. Hearing other people's scooter stories and experiences is one of the best parts of being a scooterist. I can usually be found at a rally talking my head off, or on a ride during my free time. I'd like to thank Jay and all of you for giving me the opportunity to step up and guide the club in a positive direction. I plan to carry on what the club has started so far and plan to implement new facets and ideas needed to expand and develop the LCUSA on new levels.
So next time your at a rally and see me please stop by and say hi. |

I’m 31 and live in the Bay Area, about 1/2 south of San Francisco with my wife Jene and daughter Lily. I have been working in finance since I graduated from college in '94.
I have been scooting since '91. If I'm not working or hanging out with my family, I am usually in the garage working on scooters. I love Lambrettas not only because of their style, but because I feel that they handle better, are more tuneable, and are generally better engineered than their peers. My goal is to see more and more Lammies at rallies (already happening) and on the road. I encourage anyone even remotely interested to join the Lambretta Club USA and look forward to meeting you all in the years to come. |

I guess you can say I am a bit crazy about scooters, Lambretta's in
general. I have been riding for over 10 years (oh now I totally sound
old). I still own the first Lambretta I bought because it's been so good
to me. I was married to the love of my life during EuroLambretta in
Assisi Italy back in 2004. My husband Jon is also very much so into
scooters. He works at Casa Lambretta in Denver. I am also a member of the all girls club called the Secret
Servix.
I fell in love with the beauty and style of the vintage Italian scooters.
What other two-wheeled vehicle could let you ride around in such style
while sporting a skirt or dress! My pride and joy Lambretta is my 1959
Series I LI 150 with an Imola kit. I also have a 1973 Jet200 and a Vespa
P200. My latest scooter though has to be the sweetest gift I have ever
got. While in Italy Jon picked up a J Deluxe as a Valentine's gift for
me. Through scooters I have met so many amazing people.
I love the fact that it is almost like a family, we all take vacations
together (rallies) and talk almost everyday (internet). The Lambretta Club
USA is going to be a great way to help keep the Lambretta family alive and
together! |
