LAMMY JAMMY 2009 WAS AMAZING THANKS CONTINGENT GUYS!
Congrats to Mark Spaulding on winning the "Violator"
Greetings fellow LCUSA members- I hope 2006 has been as good for you as it has been for the Lambretta Club Of America. Our efforts have built a forum for camaraderie for Lambretta nuts and has helped Innocenti remain one of the world's most loved scooters. This website has brought so many things to the scootering community: friendships, information, motivation, & a laugh here and there. The commitment to the preservation of lambrettas is always apparent in most of the posts I see on the board. It never ceases to amaze me that there are so many "sharp" enthusiast visiting the forum everyday. Joining this club was one of the best moves I ever made. Because of the efforts of Lambretta Club Of America, the Lambretta motorscooter value has held its own, and in many cases is continuing to increase. Sometimes it hits me like a ton of bricks, I just wanted to share that with everyone.
I want everyone to put their front tire forward for issue number 3 of the Specialist. Anything you have that could be suitable for print that you think other members could enjoy, please don't hold back. Shoot it off to me at kieranwalsh@mindspring.com. I am always looking for shots of members and their scooters for the gallery, ads, stories, lambretta oddities, etc... . Issue 3 will have Jammy stuff, Cannonball stuff, and a tech tip to entertain you. In addition to the Specialist the 2006 members directory will be sent out with this issue. This directory will tell you what members are living in your state as well as the whole US.
I can't thank everyone enough for all the kind thoughts, and for cheering me on during the cannonball run. My Lambretta & I will never forget those 2 weeks.
Hope to see you soon- Kieran Walsh President Lambretta Club USA
08.08.2006 Hello fellow LCUSA Members-
I hope everyone has recovered from Denver's Jammy weekend. Weather you made it out or not, I am sure you've heard it was a smashing success! Members were psyched at the club's commitment and their determination to put on a great rally was evident.
Having an event with the VCOA was rewarding in many ways. Seeing so many people come to Denver from all over the states, as well as other countries, was remarkable. The hospitality the local Denver people displayed made the out-of-towners feel welcomed. It was a tremendous event to pull-off and couldn't have happened without all the help we had. The Secret Servix, Peak, Jedi Knights, Ace, & Squeam scooter clubs all pitched-in to do their part. We couldn't have done it without the venues that opened their doors and let us take over - Casalambretta, Erico Motorsports, Sportique, LaBoheme, Polly Esther's, Wings Over the Rockies, the Walnut Room, and Nallens. Our sponsors, Royal Purple, Peroni, Sparks, Casa Lambretta, SPD, and Scooters O', just to name a few, really went above and beyond. A special thanks also goes out to our member web gurus for setting-up the online registration, delivering all the up-to-date info. Missi for organizing and keeping all the pre-registers inlinewas amazing.
I could go on-and-on about all the great stuff but that would take pages, so let me just give everyone a sincere THANK YOU for being a part of such a great event. As soon as we can announce where the next Jammy will be, we will. Until then, keep supporting this club, contribute to the magazine, post on the forum and give us feedback. This is OUR club.
That's it for now, talk to you soon-
Kieran

Hello fellow LCUSA Members, My name is Kieran Walsh, the president of LCUSA. Living in Tampa, Florida I ride year round when I'm not wrestling gators. Originally born in New Jersey, I moved to Florida at the age of 13. My love for scooters started right after I graduated high school in 1991 and since then I've spent countless hours and energy riding, restoring, and destroying scooters. I am an avid scooter enthusiast, but certainly enjoy Lambrettas. Hearing other people's scooter stories and experiences is one of the best parts of being a scooterist. I can usually be found at a rally talking my head off, or on a ride during my free time. I'd like to thank Jay and all of you for giving me the opportunity to step up and guide the club in a positive direction. I plan to carry on what the club has started so far and plan to implement new facets and ideas needed to expand and develop the LCUSA on new levels. So next time your at a rally and see me please stop by and say hi.
