Christina was without a bike in ABQ for the long Sunday ride and she was my passenger and we had a blast. That's how clubmates do it.
Go on a bike
Go in a car.
Go over there.
Go very far.
Go with a ride.
Or go without.
But go my friend,
Go without doubt! _________________ DIE spammers! DIE! |

(Bump - see my previous post)
I'm staying in the Springs on Thurs/Fri/Sat nights but my offer still stands to help get scooters from Forward Air DIA/Denver to COS and vice versa. I do want to enjoy the rally and don't want to be driving a truck back and forth all weekend, so first come first served.
Has anyone found out if FA in the Springs is more expensive than shipping to Denver? My offer may be moot if it's not. _________________

We'll be riding in from the west.
But for the return trip to San Francisco we'll be looking for options. One of us will need to return to San Francisco by late Monday, so we'll be up a bike. Seeing as I can't drive two bikes we'll either be grabbing a rental van to return, requesting help shipping a bike, or hopping a ride from another club member going in a westerly direction. It would be cool to get a ride as far as Las Vegas so I can ride through Death Valley.
If there is any club member looking for a bit of cash to defray the return cost hit me up. All options are options.
(A transportation post should be started in the Lambretta Jamboree 2012 directory.) |

There isn't a forward air terminal in COS, so they would be trucking the freight from denver to the COS and charge more. Not sure how pricing would work there. If they knew a bunch of freight was going to the COS, maybe they could haul at once?
If anybody needs bikes delivered to the scooter shop, just let us know.

We can probably assist with getting bikes from Denver to the Springs. Haven't solidified my plans yet but I may be driving my truck and a trailer out from Seattle and could take several bikes with me. _________________ Jet200 Performance

Mark, a brother of one of our members bought a scooter here and we're rebuilding it for him to ride at the Jammy but we need to find a way to get it back to him. Let me know if you have a spare space on your way home.
