I know were 2 years out but my buddy just got back from a cushman national rally in Sturgis, SD and it reminded me how much I've wanted to take a scoot through the Black Hills in SD. I've been to the butt rock rally there more times than I care to remember but I always stay deep in the Hills and away from the scene. It's really a great place to ride; lots of things to see and some really great roads. Anyway; I know we probably don't even have a member in the whole state but between MN, CO, IA and NE I'm sure it could be memorable.
Cody, Wyoming would also be cool. They have a rodeo in town every night of the week in the summer!
Boring video but it's neat to see all the Cushman's invade downtown Sturgis.

I sure hope the Minneapolis folks put in another offer to hold it in their fine city. If it can't be in Milwaukee, then I'm all for Minneapolis! Sorry for you all that you will be experiencing ungodly heat in Richmond this weekend while us in the upper midwest will be enjoying weather in the high 70s (although let's be honest, I'd be there in a heartbeat if I could be, despite the weather). _________________ My exploits trying to fix up Lambrettas can be found at http://62lambrettarestore.tumblr.com |

Funny I was just going to see when they'd start taking proposals again!
Also what about a joint WI/MN proposal? A place like Spring Green would be cool with all the Frank Lloyd Wright, House on the Rock and great roads. Not to mention an old school theme room hotel. http://www.donqinn.net/
Otherwise I'd be down for submitting another one in MPLS, I'll even ask Peter to help out this time. _________________ -Matty

That sounds like an awesome idea! There are tons of ideas for rides in that area and the roads are incredible. Even if we can't make it for the Jammy I've wanted to do a rally in SW Wisconsin for a while. I'll hit you up offline.

Didn't see any in Richmond Grumps, but then again, wasn't looking for them .
I am all for Minneapolis, never been there. I hear the fishing is good, the skeeters are bad and the women are mostly blonde _________________ that's not going anywhere |

Minneapolis sounds great to me. I can kill two birds with one stone; the Jammy and a visit with my Mom. _________________ 1960 LI 125

I'd be down for mpls or southern WI. It would be cool to run the Wisconsin side of the river valley from Red Wing to Lacrosse. If it ends up being around here than I'll help out for sure.
I like the idea of hitting up a smaller community for it, rural riding kicks ass. I was just up in mpls for the blind lizard on Father's day and the 60 stop lights on a 7 mile trip reminded me why riding rural is where it's at. _________________ www.piston-ported.com

Both rumors are true. I married a brunette; around here they are exotic. _________________ www.piston-ported.com
