thanks guys. you never know when the next one is right around the corner. Craig dude I got it from looked like one of the Allman brothers. When I saw all the paper work and bagged items/ and she kicked over it was a go. Gonna buff the paint up and get te paint matched for the panels gonna respray them. continue to rebuild what needs it. gas tank is getting dipped. All the cables are good and no cracks! Joe, come spring I'll have a few bikes for sale.

pulled a late night last night. got the rims all apart and remounted. front hub apast. motor taken apart. very clean. replacing seals and o rings. cleaning the piston which looks real good, nice rings. really clean crank. one broken washer on the endplate. look like the didn't have the muffler on all the way. I had to scrape 1/2 inch of mud and dirt and oil from shrouds and engine. thank goodness for dust covers on the stator. Saturday gonna scrub the frame down and drop the forks and rebuild. .
gonna try to use paint remover to get the stupid rustoleum the po used on the hub. also on the front fender. may try to wetsand the fender though, as I don't want to take the og paint off. _________________ Built To Last

yeah it was near my hood. 2 doors down from our old place in 1998. Dude has a P 200 he tried to sell me too. I passed. It was kinda sad because he is in financial trouble and may be in forclosure. He needed the funds. _________________ Built To Last

spent the day cleaning and talling a parts order.
sanded the muffler and painted it...
next is to pull forks replace bearings and rebuild forks internally.
then to start buffin more on the paint. I used simple green to clean the frame. placed the order tonight and should have her running by the end of the month. the series 3 restoration I am handling for a friend will be blocking and sanding getting ready for paint by the end of the month. I need to finish this bike to put the resto together. _________________ Built To Last
